Speakers
Dr David Aubrey-Jones - Information Security Manager, RBS
David has over 25 years experience in security, and during this time has had many different roles. David spearheaded Threat management at the Royal Bank of Scotland's (RBS) and now leads the Threat Readiness team at RBS. Before joining RBS David was Head of Security Strategy at KPMG. He has also conducted malware research, and designed and developed successful security products. 

He has chaired the UK’s Financial Services Information Exchange (FSIE) and was key to the FSIE creating the first Cyber Threat Landscape report submitted to the Bank of England and UK regulators. In this capacity he participated in ‘Resilient Shield’, a joint US/UK table-top exercise agreed by Downing street and the Whitehouse aimed at enhancing “cooperation and ability to respond effectively to a cyber-incident in the finance sector”. He formed and continues to chair the successful APT Malware working group (JWGI) which has over 50 members from large banks in the UK.  

David is an active member of the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (FS-ISAC) European Threat Intelligence Committee (ETIC). He has also been a member of the Information Security Forum (ISF) Council and is on the ISF Chapter planning committee in the UK. He has been a speaker at many conferences, and given presentations and hosted panel sessions at both FS-ISAC and ISF meetings and summits.
 
Tom Huckle - Head of Cyber Training and Development, Crucial Academy


Tom is the Head of Cyber Training & Consultancy at Crucial Academy and a specialist in defensive security, threat intelligence and information assurance.  Tom is a former Royal Marines officer and Mountain Leader.  He joined Crucial Academy from Barclays SOC Cyber Operations Team and is responsible for the strategic direction and delivery of Crucial Academy’s training and consultancy capability.

Geoffrey Hill - Director, Tutamantic


Geoffrey Hill has been a developer in the IT industry since 1990, when he wrote and sold C++ based solutions to measure risk in the commodities markets in New York City.  Since then he has worked as a senior developer of quantitative finance applications in Nomura Finance (New York), Mitsukoshi Finance (Japan), Macquarie Finance (Australia) and NatWest Bank (UK).
 
From 2007 - 2011, Geoffrey was the custodian of the Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) initiative in the Services organization at Microsoft, with endorsement by the Microsoft Trustworthy Computing Initiative Group.  He was responsible for the Security Engineering of several high-profile Microsoft Services projects, including the British Telecom pay-per-view Vision service and the United Nations World Economic Forum Collaboration Service.
 
From 2011 - 2103, Geoffrey was employed by Cigital Inc., a company that specializes in incorporating secure engineering development frameworks into the software development lifecycles of client organizations.  He was leading the software security initiative at a major phone manufacturer and a major central European bank over his time at Cigital. From 2013 - 2018, he was working as the sole application security architect for Visa Europe.
 
He is currently starting up his own security software company called Tutamantic. It is focused on automating secure design by automating the threat model process.

Chris Hodson, CISO EMEA, Tanium

Chris is an information security, data privacy and risk management leader with an SME background in strategy, architecture and design who possesses 18 years' professional experience obtained across the financial, retail, energy and media industry sectors.
As a Chief Information Security Officer, he is a trusted advisor to executives, board members and other stakeholders, helping them define well-balanced strategies for managing risk and improving business outcomes.
Chris has seen first-hand the changing role of IT, from a response organisation to a strategic business unit that drives value and a competitive advantage for the business.  Chris holds an MSc in Cyber Security from Royal Holloway and is a Director of the IISP and member of the CompTIA's Cyber Security Committee.
